A classic & beautiful privacy fence with the design flexibility to add lattice to the top section of the fence. We build our Batten Board fence with 4×4 rough sawn cedar posts and rough sawn cedar 2×4 cross rails. The top cap on each panel is also a rough sawn cedar 2×4 which strengthens the fence and adds to its longevity. Many of our competitors use a thin picket or 1x board for the top cap, and unlike our 2×4 top caps, they tend to warp and detach over time, resulting in premature repairs. The panels are built on site with 6” pickets that are overlapped, resulting in a fence that provides complete privacy.
